Jordi Miguel is a naturalist specialized in ichthyology, the study of fish and aquatic ecosystems, and has dedicated much of his life to the rivers and forests of the Amazon. He began his Amazon expeditions in 2002 and has since guided travelers, biologists, photographers, adventurers, and television crews through this vast landscape of waterways and rainforest.

In 2005, he launched Lo Peix, bringing together years of field experience, local knowledge, and a deep respect for nature. In 2017, the Acqua Amazon boat became part of the operation, expanding the company’s ability to host safe, comfortable, and immersive river expeditions.

Jordi’s work reflects a simple belief: when travel is guided by passion, knowledge, and respect for the Amazon, it becomes a life-changing experience.
